There are two special elections in Michigan today.
Democrats technically “lost” their trifecta at the start of the year when two dem lawmakers resigned after winning mayoral elections last November.
Both districts are heavily Democratic, but margins will matter.
If dems continue to overperform, or at the very least hit their 2022 numbers, it will be a great sign for them.
If the win but underperform, it could throw a few warning signs up.
If they somehow manage to lose one or both, it would likely be a huge warning and result in them actually losing their trifecta.

Plenty of gov-sponsored bot accounts already pay for twitter blue though. This is just Musk squeezing more money out of subsidized bot farms.
They’ll pay the fine, they don’t actually care.
EDIT And by gov-sponsored I don’t particularly mean any one government. I’m pretty sure every gov has a bot operation in their budget at this point.

I checked in on these races. Detroit Free Press has 100% of the 25th in, with Democrat Peter Herzberg winning by 21.2 points. The 13th only has 43.6% of precincts reporting as of this post, but Democrat Mai Xiong is leading by 78.6 points (Disclaimer: that’s only counting 56 votes total).

Also I want to issue a correction to what I said about the elections. There’s no way 56 votes account for 43% of precincts in the 13th state house district. Freep’s system must be buggy.

From the start of Trump Media and Truth Social going public, people knew the stock was massively overvalued
You didn’t need a detailed look at the company’s internal documents to know that, you just needed to look at the site itself. It has a fraction of a fraction of the number of users that sites like Facebook and Twitter has and yet its individual shares traded higher than Elon’s takeover of Twitter shares(imperfect example but it shouldn’t be anywhere close regardless)
The only reason why the stock launched as high as it did was due to the acquisition company that purchased it belonging to Trump Loyalists(and they may have wanted a better deal anyways but the acquisition company had some sort of a deadline I think to buy something)
There was a initial spike for like, a day after launch(could just be a combination of loyalists buying in hard along with people who wanted to pump and dump) but it’s taken a nose dive ever since

Every time she had the chance to clarify her positions about trans people, she’s only doubled down on her comments invalidating their gender identity. Because of that, she’s burned bridges with several actors of the Harry Potter film franchise (notably Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson) and even Stephen King for speaking in favor of the same.
Let’s not mince words here: she’s a bigot, pure and simple.

Reality/science put aside for the sake of inclusion. It works fine until it doesn’t and you are not allowed to say anything but just have to continue watching or else you will be reported to the police for hate speech…

I am strongly against women’s and girls’ rights and protections being dismantled to accommodate trans-identified men, for the very simple reason that no study has ever demonstrated that trans-identified men don’t have exactly the same pattern of criminality as other men, and because, however they identify, men retain their advantages of speed and strength. In other words, I think the safety and rights of girls and women are more important than those men’s desire for validation.
Read: all men are criminals and all trans people should be treated like criminals
