Bonbon has deep, seething hatred of Rarity. Rarity is completely unaware of this. I admit that this theory mostly exists because of a couple bits in the show where Bonbon was sort of a bitch to her, but hey we’ve adopted premises based on less.

-The Crystal Heart kills whatever hates it, or the crystal empire. Had Sombra loved or been apathetic towards it, he would still be in one piece.  
-Ponyville has a Hate Club. For ponies that just love to dislike their rediculous and goofy neighbors.

That reminds me. One of my headcanons that I believe actually holds up fairly well is that ponies are vegetarian out of custom rather than biological necessity. The reason for this is fairly obvious, as even an utter bastard like myself wouldn’t be willing to eat beef after the cow had introduced itself to me.
 
On the show they regularly ingest things like eggs which do have a lot of protein in them, and I fully expect someone to correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe that is something that regular ponies would be able to digest.
 
Additionally in order for a species to produce a brain capable of sapient thought, quite a lot of protein is needed. It is theorized that our own climb towards sapience began when our monkey ancestors began scavenging the kills of various prehistoric predators.

Featherweight is secretly a Spider based hero known as Spidercolt.  
Rainbow Dash hides her girly side by being like she is. She secretly likes to Dress in style. When no pony is around.  
Fluttershy is really an animal wrestler almost like Steve Irwin with Alligators.

Normal ponies can and do eat meat, although they don’t (usually) make a habit out of it. Given that My Little Pony eating habits are closer to human than to actual equines, eating meat shouldn’t pose a physiological problem.
 
Given that ponies feed animals to their pets, I’d say that any reluctance to eat meat is more cultural than biological or even legal. Keep in mind that gryphons are a part of Equestria, and gryphons are basically two obligate carnivores stapled together.
 
Incidentally, pigs aren’t shown to be sapient in the show. I’m not sure about goats, but they’ve never talked and one seemed to be one of Fluttershy’s pets, so I don’t think that they are sapient, either. So there are some large non-sapient animals that could be raised for meat, along with chickens and, well, rabbits. Carnivores has options, even in Equestria.

They can. They don’t go hunting for it, obviously, but they’ll still eat meat if they’re hungry and it’s in front of them.
 
Plant matter is tougher to digest than meat, so something that can digest plants can also digest meat.

King Sombra’s rule wasn’t as bad as most ponies were lead to believe, at least, not at first. In fact, a lot of the crystal ponies were perfectly happy. Sure, he was iron-fisted, but as long as the ponies worked hard and loved their king, they led happy, fulfilling lives.
 
However, he was still feared for one reason; his treatment of any creature that wasn’t a crystal pony. Being a normal unicorn, he was raised to believe that crystal ponies were a superior race. When he came to realize that he wasn’t one of them himself, he came to the conclusion that he was made king to spread the message of their superiority.
 
Any non-crystal being that dared to enter his kingdom was immediately enslaved. Now, at the time, he wasn’t a monster, and he would give them a fair chance. After all, inferior creatures made good servants and laborers, right? So every non-crystal was made either a castle-servant or mine-worker. Those who worked hard were allowed to lead normal lives (albeit under the hooves of the Crystal ponies), those who didn’t were executed.
 
The Crystal Ponies could only take so many public executions before their fear of Sombra began to show, and he realized this quickly. He gradually became less of an iron-fisted king and more of a ruthless tyrant, threatening to send anypony that dared to oppose him to the same fate as all the griffins and dragons he slaughtered. Eventually, this warped him into the merciless, tyrannical monster he’s known as today.

According to “Putting Your Hoof Down”, goats do appears to be sapient (they’re Iron Will’s assistants), but not able to speak “Equestrian”. Fortunately, Iron Will speaks Goat.

Were they sapient, or were they just well trained animals? Remember, Angel Bunny acts even more intelligent than them, and Fluttershy has a trained choir made of birds. All sapient creatures have been able to talk.
 
Iron Will being able to talk to his goats is decidedly plausible.

In the Equestria Girls world, King Sombra is the ruler of a South American dictatorship, and keeps his nation funded through the international sale of crystal meth.

King Sombra actually runs a small school district with an iron fist, and is aiming to use his authority to run for higher official. He’s using a number of unethical methods to cut costs and make himself look good. His zero tolerance policies for absolutely everything are the stuff of nightmares.
 
Chyrsalis is actually the principal of a school full of delinquents and thugs. She does absolutely nothing to enforce discipline, but the students love her for that and her constant stunts.
 
Moving right along…
 
Celestia actually planned for Twilight to take over the Crystal Empire. She was expecting Twilight to be hailed as a hero for defeating Sombra, which is why she said that Twilight had to handle it herself. She didn’t want anyone else to take her student’s glory.

-the elements of harmony are not the only artifacts that are fueled by friendship. They cannot be held by those who already bear the Elements.  
-Celestia likes to hang around giraffes because they make her feel less insecure about her height.  
-Zecora has a brother named Craezoc whose has an odd obsession with tarot cards  
-the everfree forest is powered by an ancient Tree God deep within its center. It’s primary directive is to spread the forestlands, indifferent to all attempts to tame it except the soothing of earth pony magic. Timberwolves are of his doing.
