Speaking, of which, fun fact: In early drafts of the film during production, Spike was supposed to transform into a sea-dragon by the Pearl of Transformation. But in the finished film, Spike became a pufferfish instead.
How is that surprising? He was a dog in EQG.
It’d be hilarious if they went somewhere where he somehow turned into something truly impressive, though.

I just see it as a bad movie. Just as bad as the show and equestria girls movies.

More like a very good movie with good writing, good animation and great visuals. The character flaws and motivations made sense. The side characters weren’t annoying and were actually written well. Songs were not annoying, and were memorable and enjoyable. The villains had some good depth and were intimidating for the most part. The plot made sense, and overall the film was very entertaining and highly enjoyable.
So what exactly made it ‘bad’ to you? Because I’m not seeing it and neither did 78% of those who actually watched it.
I don’t assume a person’s bad just because of a movie, I just have a negative opinion towards pessimists, nihilists, and those who don’t look on the bright side of everything, they just depress me and make me lose faith in humanity… His reaction seemed slightly pessimistic to me, and because of that, I reasoned he could be a bad person.
Imagine assuming someone’s a bad person based on their opinion of a movie lol
