Sorry, I meant military. But, I think he was in the army. Also, you didn’t sound aggressive to me.

“Army” is a branch of what is called the “Military”. So if you’re Grandpa told you he served in the Army, then the Army is the branch of Military he served in.
There are four main Branches of Military:
Army
Navy
Marines
Air Force
And these four branches of military have sub-branches like the National Gaurd and Coast Gaurd.

Yeah, anyone who serves an army of any branch are brave. I have a grandpa that was in the navy, and another that was in the army but I don’t know what branch. You have my eternal respect for serving.
Still am a Navy sailor. Anyone who joins any branch of the Military are brave men and women, and I respect them for choosing to serve. Trust me when I say, military is not for everyone. That’s why Boot Camp/Basic Training is where recruits go first, so they can find out who’s able to take the challenge to the end. I’ve watched some call it quits when I was in Boot Camp. It’s not a walk in the park, even if you think it will be.

I can relate to two of these. Don’t worry, I didn’t kill anyone. Something tells me no one was going to worry because if I did kill someone I’d probably be in prison. And even if I did, I wouldn’t tell everyone on the internet.
