This was an idea from an MLP comic, which for reasons of time I had to download.
The plot happens in AU where the sonic rainboom did not happen, but there is no enemy in this, Princess Luna never became Nightmare. So the girls had different lives.
In this line the story Twilight tells that when she failed her test on the day of her exam due to frustration, she breaks the spike egg of another with the sword of her brother, demonstrating a great talent for combat, which makes her take life military and become the vice captain of the army of celestia.

rarity got lost when she could not find her inspiration and ended up on the Apple farm, in that reality she is married to big mac and is expecting a baby. it is part of the Apple family.
Dash lost his career and his self-test was destroyed and Fluttershy had to be strong to protect her friend.
AJ did not return to the farm and focused on her life in the city, she is a lawyer and has not seen her family in years.
Pinkie worked on the farm until Maud recommended that she travel, she is the youngest doctor in the Poniville hospital
Sure maybe change pinkie pies into a expert doctor instead since it fits her.

Fluttershy: after seeing the bullies constantly bully her friend rainbow she desited enough and protect her. Soon she learn her new courage and desited to be a protector of the weak and run her own martial arts school. She tend to try to control her new emotions but tend to get hot headed.
Pinkie pie: after seeing a she was going to be stuck in the rock farm for the rest of her life she fell into a depression. In her years she started to learn about the earth and what resources it can creat. After she was old enough she went threw geology and graduated with the highest score earning her a spot as equestrias pro geologist science.
Applejack: feeling home sick from her home town. Applejack desired to follow a corse to keep her mind off home until one day he saw her uncle suffer threw a car crash and Sued by a corrupt businessman. This sparked applejack to her future. After many years of studies in law and order she help her uncle sue the crook and earn her the title: “equestrias most honest lawyer”
Rarity: after not finding her inspiration in the canyon she gave up hop until she found herself lost on the way back home. She was in fear until she saw the most beautiful thing she ever saw. A trail of glowing flowers threw the night that lead her home. This gave her a new look on the beauty of nature and what it hold. She then took a job at sweet apple acres since applejack went to the big city and learn everything about plants. With a mix of magic she was given the title of gia mother of all plants.
