Anyway, if we’re talking about genderswaps and hypocrisy, I really dislike Fluttershy as I don’t like shy girls, but I like Butterscotch as I like shy guys. Go figure.

but I dislike Fluttershy’s Rule 63 name. Butterscotch? really? why not Flutterscotch? the “Butter” in his name gives off connotations of him being fat, as is the case with Buttershy.

Probably just a take on previous gen ponies with the name. G1 Butterscotch had a butterflies symbol.

The way the fandom usually draws pregnancies bothers me. somewhat related there was an anonymous confession from someone who wanted to get multiple women pregnant. Not that he planned on taking care of any of the children. He just had a pregnancy fetish. Some people deserve to be punched.

Why wouldn’t it? The physical changes, the hormonal changes, the terrifying potential medical issues… it’s all rather frightening.

Male!Cadance is rare in general. Unlike most people, I quite like Prince Bolero and I like the Shining Bolero pairing a hell of a lot. X3

Trust me, I didn’t know about that pairing either until about a year or so ago. And since the clopping fandom loves an idea of Shining being gay or otherwise bi-sexual (ditto with Cadence), it kinda makes sense that Bolero gets shipped with Shining as well.

That sounds less like hypocrisy and more like heterosexuality.
 
As a character I can barely tolerate Fluttershy, so I really appreciate Andrea Libman’s performance because it makes it much easier to think of Fluttershy as being a representation of a person, and it’s a much easier to be patient with an actual person’s problems.

I find gender swaps silly. Also what’s silly is the number of people who have poison joke just gender swap characters. (There’s too many.Why not be more creative?)
 
Fluttershy I just generally find her design cute (But I can say that about every pony)
