Sgt. Sprinkles initially intended Cupcakes to be a troll-fic that would trick the reader into thinking it’s a sugar-sweet PinkieDash fic (hence the name and the rather innocent first few sentences) before veering wildly off-course into the torture-fic it actually is. He never expected it to be this popular; he wrote it just to see how many people would actually read it.

That’s the story that got me into pones, as funny as it may sound. I kind of thought it was canon and sat through like the first three or four episodes thinking Pinkie was like Flippy from Happy Tree Friends.

I haven’t read it, not fully. There was a time, back in 2011, when you could not avoid seeing it because people thought it was funny to plaster it everywhere.

I have no “problem” with the idea. How did you even arrive at that utterly ridiculous conclusion?
 
I merely stated a simple fact; DB is not a FB-esque social networking site with “friending” and “walls” and whatnot. If means of communication with other users is the only criterion for “social networking”, then most – if not all – of the sites you listed would also count.

Well yeah, technically, but this isn’t a social networking site à la Facebook, Twitter or whatever.

It is, however, a site for sharing and finding content. Why not?

I don’t think the site should include those features as this really isn’t a site built for social networking. Perhaps having a spot for artists to link their art sites in their profiles but other than that not really feeling that.

Reddit calls them flairs. They look cute, but can get really annoying when 20 different people have massive, multicolored flairs and they all are in the same thread. Please don’t do that.
