Don’t worry, I don’t take it personally. ;-)
But I disagree with your disagreement. Grin. Actually you say the EU tries to replace your culture by forcing their trade rules upon you. Basicly it’s the regular complaining about “the lost our freedom (culture), because we’re not allowed to do our own shit. And I AM offended by this kind of ignorance. No matter of Scandinavans, Britons, Italians, Hungarians, etc. Because it shows how selfcentred most people still are till today. Everyone wants profit. Big money. The great EU market. But everyone expect this is a place “Selbstbedienungsladen”. See the Greece. They faked their budget to get into the EU even they weren’t ready. And UKW wants to leave because their fishing industry is dying!?
Please wake up. The EU does’t force anything, it literally tries to clean and clense the shit certain European nations produce for years. Culture my a**… Everyone starts complaining if it comes to the harsh reality that we can’t stay in the 20th century forever. The world changes and we have so too. But nothing get replaced. Maybe a new European united identidy will grow. And I would appreciate that. I would go to war for you as much as I would for my own family. Because we’re or better we should be one European family. With the same rules, the same laws, the same trade, the same foreign policy. To prevent that there will ever be a Great war on pur soil. I’m not saying that Brüssel should regulate the state affairs on a “national” level. Let there be regional parlaments. They can regulate the daily struggles of the local people. Basic democracy. But to handle the upcoming problems of the 21th century we need to stand together. As one unity. And we have to get rid of all this old thinking about every nation for itself. It won’t work anymore. That’s just my opinion. ;-)
