Crazy Headcanons

Celestia foresaw the events of G5 would happen one day, maybe in her generation or in othee generations to come. And for those reasons, she taught the Mane Six so they would either be ready for this event. Or at the very least provide the legacy and teachings the future generations would need to recover from this terrible crisis.
 
Also this is one of her hidden reasons for bringing back Discord.

When ponies with the more normal dichromic vision tried to discern young Applejack’s cutie mark, AJ was understandably creeped out.

Each pony race has their own unique artform.
 
Experienced unicorns with their spells can create lightshows that can even tell a story.
 
Pegasi can create cloud scultpures and freeze them into statues.
 
Dragon chefs make their gem cuusine to look as beautiful as possible like in a fancy restaurant.
 
Earth Ponies can grow trees in a way make them look like sculptures. They might also carve stories in certain trees.

Headcanon: Illusion unicorns at one time used to be loved for their skills but also considered untrustworthy and to be scoundrels for partaking in what is considered the art of deception.

Native Americans used to tie down saplings to deform trees as trail markers.  
The Apple-Pear tree is two trees growing around each other.  
I can imagine earth ponies twisting saplings to form unique trunk structures in a similar way.

Well, most unicorns only do telekinesis plus magic related to their cutie mark. Sweetie Belle’s magical skills seem to imply that virtually any unicorn theoretically could learn more, but it appears that not many ponies can be bothered to put much effort into learning any skill they don’t have a natural talent for.

Celestia once tried eating some fish. There’s a reason she doesn’t eat it since then.

I’ll have to watch that video. I always thought Celestia was much more thorough and clever than Discord after all. Discord to me lacks the self awareness that Celestia has.
 
Honestly Celestia’s greatest talent isn’t her magic, loyalty, generosity, kindness, amusement or honesty. It’s recognizing the talents and potential in those who have either of those gifts.

On the topic of Celestia:  
Celestia loves to get one-shotted by the bad guys. Because she’s technically a God, she likes the feeling of being dominated, so she purposely weakens herself. So in other words she’s a masochist.

Also to add to my headcanon/prediction, Discord will return in G5 somehow, and he will redeem himself for his mistake with Grogar by truly helping the Mane Five with a tough problem. And then he can truly consider himself a hero.

I do like that idea of discord after years of trying to be a mentor has progressed enough as a person or uh Draconequus as to where hes a truly effective mentor.

I’m kind of conflicted about the prospect of Discord in G5. He could be a lot of fun, but he could also tempt the writers to get bogged down in shameless fanservice at the expense of whatever new things they might have had in store.

Easter eggs and subtle references are probably gonna be the way to go before they inevitably run out of ideas and get trashed so much online they just start ripping ideas from the G4 reddit.

 
So for the past four years I’ve been doing RPs involving Starlight, and all of them feature Starlight’s identical twin sister Moonlight. I’d like to think that one of the ponies pictured above is Moonlight herself.
