YouTube is a BIG website, so I don’t think every kid-oriented video will be removed from the main YouTube website…at least without a drastic change in the site’s infrastructure.

Now why would they do something smart like that? Their solution to every problem is direct elimination regardless of how many people it pisses off. As long as their advertisers are happy they don’t give a rats ass about creators unless it’s someone who makes them tons of money (and sometimes not even then). By the time it’s over they might as well change the name to “CorporateTube”.

Oregon’s capital building is shutdown over threats from right-wing militias in order to keep that Climate Change bill from coming to a vote.

I’ve discovered over the years that a lot of folk like him don’t actually know what social science is.

An update to the Oregon Senator kerfluffle: the Republican walkouts are now ordered to pay a fine of $500 everyday their missing. But those Reps are now threatening to sue them because they really hate that their being expected to “work” or “do their job” and such.
 
Apparently the Bill runs its course by the 30th. On top of that supposedly a local fundraiser was done to pay the fines for the cowards lazy climate change refusing cowardly bastards and has raised almost $40,000.

As far as I can understand, they need a certain number of Senators present to actually vote on it. They apparently have enough of a Democrat supermajority to make it pass, but they still need enough Republican Senators to just be there before the vote can commence.
 
Bureaucracy basically.

Trump fired all his pollsters who said that he would lose terribly, but kept the one pollster who says he’ll win. Even though that one guy is blacklisted amongst the entire Republican party because he has a long history of lying about his poll numbers showing his clients were going to win big but ended up losing big.
 
You know what? Good. Let the idiot surround himself with Yes Men in this category. It means he won’t know where he needs to course correct on his campaigning, let alone where he’ll need to campaign.

I think he knows he’s screwed so he’s laying the ground work for one of two things.
 
One- not leaving. He’ll contest the results, gum up the system, and may even attempt to seize power. He’ll fail, but it’ll sate his ego.
 
Two- play the wounded dove and get richer. He knows he’s lost, and wants to make sure he can profit when he’s out. Becoming a political icon without ever having to run again.

If I understand the Oregon Climate Change bill right then it just makes the situation more asinine.
 
Correct me if I’m wrong, but as far as I understand it’s about as milquetoast middle-of-the-road half measure you can get on carbon emission regulation. All it does is set a cap on what any given factory/corporation can put out, but allows companies to trade left over caps to others. So a small factory that never hits its cap can sell the difference to a big factory that constantly hits it cap.
 
And yet even that is too much for Republicans.
