Reading the page before (including Cyborg_pony and Thanotos being their obvious usual self), I find the topic of anonymous sources being quite interesting.
On one side, it enables whistle-blowers to reveal the problems and weaknesses found within government and society, and shows the world the dirty truths that exist regardless of the possible effects. And yet on the other side, it is literally impossible to prove whether or not it is real, making it easily abuseable and holds no weight in any argument other than theories or speculation.
While I am not a fan of anonymous sources, I am not ignorant of their purpose within society. Honestly for those here, I hoped that you people would treat all anonymous sources with a grain of salt instead of just accepting it as fact instantaneously (looking at you, Thanotos).
Anonymous data should NEVER be seen as unwavering truths. Skepticism is extremely important and instead of attacking people because you heard a rumor, do your research.
If what Trump did is real, then you are right. If it isn’t, then you are wrong. Regardless of whether you are right or wrong, it will not change what it is. It’ll make you angry or betrayed or some other irrelevant feeling, but the effects will not change.
Right or wrong doesn’t matter unless you act upon it. But you don’t and being correct only exists to feed your petty ego. All in all, I’m disappointed in all of you.
